Porsche 356B, T-6, Super 90 Roadster
Black with Green Leather interior.
Coachwork by D'Ieterin, chassis #89648.
This "Twin Grill" Roadster was manufactured in
November 1961 with USA Specs and delivered new
to San Francisco. This is one of 248 T-6
Roadsters built and only 37 had the very
desirable Super 90 engine originally fitted.
Original
engine #804147 was rebuilt by Tim Herman at
Herman & Walker LLC, Hickory NC. Dyno'd
and tuned by Ron Chuck Engineering,
Redwood City CA. The original transmission
was rebuilt by Jacques Le Friant of Scott's
Porsche Parts, National City CA.
This Roadster
has received a recent bare-metal restoration
with metalwork and paint by Dink Farmer,
Lakeport CA. This included a complete
re-manufacture of all systems and components;
steering box, king/link pins, brake system, fuel
system
New wiring harness by YnZ,
all 4 Koni-Porsche shocks (dated 10/61) rebuilt,
5 chrome wheels restored by Bolton Wheels with 5
Pirelli Cinturato 185/70 tires mounted, toolkit
of late 1961 is complete and assembled by Pete
Bartelli of LinkeSpur Autos, interior by
Autos International, chrome restored by
Christiansen Plating Works, all switches, light,
reflectors, mirrors, door handles, etc. have
been meticulously restored by Victor Miles of
Concours Refinishing.
This Porsche
356B T-6 Super 90 Roadster runs and drives like
new. A rare opportunity to own the best
open Porsche in the most desirable
configuration.
